The Composition
How Rumé Dusk was made.
Rumé Dusk opens the way a fire opens — with heat first, then the wood beneath. Pink pepper and black pepper meet at the top, sharp and dry.
Haitian vetiver forms the heart, an accord we source from a single cooperative outside Les Cayes. Beneath it, smoked cedar and a leather note built from birch tar.
The drydown is mineral, almost stony. It lasts. This is a fragrance that answers cold weather.
